What essential task does the folio builder in InDesign allow for a Desktop Publisher?

  9. The folio builder actually allows a person to publish, along with see other articles. A desktop publisher needs folio builder to create their articles and magazines in a functional and organized way. They can preview it in article mode, magazine preview and then actual magazine.

  11. The folio builder allows you to publish your files to the iPad and then, using Adobe Viewer, preview your magazine on the iPad. A desktop publisher can sometimes preview what it would look like on the iPad from InDesign, but sometimes it is easier to publish it first.
